This was a fun cake to make for my daughters birthday party. She loved it. She always dresses up with princess crowns, so making a cake out of one was a dream for her. It was a lot of work though making all of the cookies that I had to put on the outside, not to mention that I hate doing sugar cookies. It did turn out very cute thought, don't you think.

Baseball Cupcakes.
Well, here is a baseball made from cupcakes. It was something that I threw together very quickly. I could also do a baseball on individual cupcakes. How fun would that be when it was your turn to bring treats to the little league game.

Butterfly Birthday Cupcake
Well, here is an attemp at a butterfly made out of cupcakes. Emma loved it, but I did learn a few new tricks that I will attempt next time I make something similar.

Welcome
The other day someone asked me what I like to do for fun when my kids arent around. I was stunned that someone would ask ME that question. When would my kids even not be around long enough to develop a hobby. I decided that I shouldnt be a different person becasue I have kids. Now dont get me wrong...my kids will change me, but I guess what I am saying is that I shouldnt give up things that I love because I have kids. Well, after a lot of thought and support from family and friends, I am starting my cake blog. This will hopefully be a process where you will see my growth when it comes to decorating cakes. I have always loved to do it, but not I really want to develop it as a hobby and hopefully in the future as a part-time buisness. So, here we go.....
